It aimed at identifying appropriate standard competencies, basic competencies, theme and subtheme, method and approches of teaching and types of assessments that were suitable to develop in character based Hinduism subject.&nbsp; </em></p> <p><em>The research method used in this research was R &amp; D method. In this study, survey was done first to identify the problems until revision process. The data in survey process were gained from observation, quissioner, and interview. The development of conceptual method was validated by experts who have background in education, culture, and the development of character based education. The data were analyzed descriptively by explaining the real finding. </em></p> <p><em>The result of this study was the development of valid and effective teaching and learning activities for Hinduism subject since the activities. By inserting character based activities in Hinduism subject could help the students to develop their character earlier. The teaching and learning activities were designed to develop the character of the primary students in Hinduism subject in Buleleng district. The result of this study were the teaching approach which inserting the character values which help to develop the character and personality of the students earlier. Data in the same year in the province of West Nusa Tenggara, abandoned children reached 201 699 inhabitants. The high number of abandoned children, became a separate issue for the Government of West Nusa Tenggara Province, one of them in the field of education. Education is a social right of all citizens, but the empirical facts show that most neglected children in NTB has not gained access to education. </em></p> <p><em>This study aims to reveal, to explain, to construct, to search for meaning, and describes about the social reality that the phenomenon of abandoned children with regard to their social rights as citizens namely the right to receive education services. The study was conducted by using a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Important aligned to societal institutions which has encouraged efforts called Hindus progress in its environment, so the harder studying religion, especially regarding tattwa (philosophy) so that Hindus can participate and contribute positively to nation building in the practice of everyday life. </em></p> <p><em>Pasraman Chatra Vidya Dharma in West Sumbawa, West Nusa Tenggara Province, was established to participate in providing religious education for students who have not learned the lesson of Hinduism. So the results are students expected to its students can provide hope in the future. </em></p> <p><em>The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative method that is by involving religious leaders and community leaders, in order to influence each other in the process of education education guidance, so get maximum results in accordance with the expectations of the local community. This study was designed and prepared in such a manner, and supported by observation, interviews, and documentation, in which the development of Hindu religious education by religious instructor, not all pasraman community can create of positive relationships, including the increase in the maturation of the student through the development of religious education. </em></p> <p><em>The findings in this study indicate that the existentialism of culture and adaptive attitude of religious instructor&nbsp; in coaching guidance at pasraman in West Lombok has been well prepared, so that all the components are there, can be used to advance each pasraman through guidance from religious instructor. In real terms, this finding can be concluded, with the existence of culture and adaptive attitude of instructor&nbsp; in coaching education in pasraman is very meaningful to the mental development of the students who have followed education in pasraman. Results showed that the instructor can move the students to fulfill their obligations in accordance with each obligation respectively. Relations between people and instructor demonstrates a very prominent family. The presence of instructor to conduct training on proper pasraman terjawal at the time. The number of samples was determined by using simple<br>random sampling. The data of this study were obtained through two models of<br>instruments, namely test and questionnaire.<br>The data were analyzed through correlation, simple and multiple<br>regressions. The contributions of cognitive styles were 14%, linguistic<br>intelligence was 12.5%, learning motivation 8.1%, and the contributions of<br>those three variables were 28.3%. To promote<br>the development of resources needed Hindu teachers who have<br>professionalism in providing insight and intellectual level of the<br>students in the school. Therefore, Hindu religious teachers should<br>have the competence and professional in their field. The fact shows<br>that we are lack of Hindu religious teachers, especially for the Hindu<br>community and the Hindu community who live in an isolated places in<br>small quantities, it is expected that the presence or formation of hiring<br>Hindu religious teachers according to need.
