KEBUTUHAN GURU AGAMA HINDU DI KABUPATEN LOMBOK TENGAH PROPINSI NUSA TENGGARA BARAT TAHUN 2013

Abstract

Awareness of the importance of religious education must also be
supported by a variety of aspects in it, including the infrastructure
facilities should be adequate and the availability of teachers who
fulfill the standards of regulations set by the government. To promote
the development of resources needed Hindu teachers who have
professionalism in providing insight and intellectual level of the
students in the school. Therefore, Hindu religious teachers should
have the competence and professional in their field. The fact shows
that we are lack of Hindu religious teachers, especially for the Hindu
community and the Hindu community who live in an isolated places in
small quantities, it is expected that the presence or formation of hiring
Hindu religious teachers according to need. Considering that the
appointment of Hindu religious teacher for this is still considered to be
very less, it is imperative conducted research on " The Needs of Hindu
Religious Teacher in The Central Lombok Regency West Nusa
Tenggara Province Year 2013".
This study uses a set of critical theory as a basis of reference. These
theories are: 1) the theory of education; 2) the theory of
professionalism; and 3) the theory of constructivism, the use of some
of the theory as a perspective on the phenomenon of contemporary life
is increasingly complex and should be analyzed by a number of
theories. So that the results showed that: The presence of students in
Central Lombok scattered in a variety of schools in each district,
Number of students ranges from 10-35 people in one school level, and
there are only 7 Hindu religious teachers in the elementary school
level, while the Junior and Senior High School level do not have
Hindu religious teachers, to facilitate students in the subjects of Hindu
religion at the level of primary school who have no Hindu religious
teachers and the Junior High School level as well as at the high school
study conducted by general subject teachers.
